Restoin-Roitfeld In Esprit

When I first heard that Julia Restoin-Roitfeld was modeling for Esprit's Spring/Summer 2010 line I thought it sounded like an odd combo, the clothing line is pretty casual, not really sexy or chic. I looked at the available photos of the campaign and, eh, not so much. Just found this one, however, and it causes me to rethink Esprit as an option—impressive! I guess from the perspective of their marketing department this would be the money shot then, non ? The campaign,"Traveling Together," was conceived by Stephen Hall [creative director of Esprit] and shot by Barnaby Roper in the Los Angeles countryside, a car graveyard. It has a strange Mad Max meets Paris, Texas vibe. Daisy Lowe is also part of this Esprit campaign; coincidentally she was one of the contenders for the British Fashion Award for Model of the Year earlier this week.
