Restoin-Roitfeld In Intermission

Daniel Magnussen launches the first Swedish issue of Intermission on April 12 and none other than Julia Restoin-Roitfeld has scored the cover. Intermission is a fashion and art magazine based in Copenhagen, Magnussen is the former editor-in-chief and creative director of He. Also featured in this issue: Magnus Berger (aka Julia's ex), Pamela Love, Pierre Hardy, Adam Kimmel, Jessica Stam, Scott Sternberg, and Greg Foley. The magazine will be on sale at Opening Ceremony stores and on European newsstands.

Hey Tiago! Agreed, I love that they posed Julia like a film noir detective but instead of the de rigueur khaki overcoat she eyes the suspect over her distressed denim collar. So right.

The cover shot is great with hints of the past but updated by Julia's jacket. I would have loved her infamous head-slightly-forward-I'm-going-to-look-into-your-soul glance though!

It is nice when Julia gazes directly into the camera as you describe, Milla, though I do think in this instance her darting glance adds to the overall concept.

Oh well, then we must agree to disagree on this one. I just noticed how plainly you can see the gap between Julia's teeth in this photo, so cute!
