Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Andy Valmorbida
Carine Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia Though it has been a few days since the opening party for Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld's latest gig, the photographs of the event are lovely so better late than never...
Vladi and Andy Valmorbida collaborated to curate another show for street artist Richard Hambleton, exhibiting this time in Moscow at the State Museum of Modern Art. The exhibit of new pop expressionist work by Hambleton runs through September 29; the art travels next to a show in London in November.
I love these images, the one of his mother, Carine Roitfeld and his girlfriend, Giovanna Battaglia is especially adorable. I wonder if it is tough for a man to be under the constant scrutiny of two of the world's most talented stylists.... Visit the photo gallery for more shots from the "Richard Hambleton—New York" opening in Moscow.

The chic yet sassy quality of this amazing dress designed by Alberta Ferretti suits Giovanna Battaglia's style (and frame) to perfection. The hue of the dress accents her coloring particularly well, simply gorgeous. Gio is seen here outside the Gucci collection in Milan. I do wish we had a better view of her shoes with the outfit....

Thanks to Citizen Couture, I get my wish — we can see the shoes! Here are more shots of Giovanna Battaglia wearing a dress from the Alberta Ferretti Fall/Winter 2010 RTW collection paired with shoes by Sergio Rossi. The adorable sunglasses are Dries Van Noten x Linda Farrow.

Very special thanks to Zana who received the latest edition of Russh and immediately thought of us when she saw Julia Restoin-Roitfeld's name on the cover. The article includes so many juicy tidbits that I am including it here in its entirety for you to enjoy. Read on to learn more about Julia's collaboration with designer Mark Fast, her ideas on what makes a woman memorable, her favorite poet, and other delightful subjects. Thank you again, Zana, fabulous interview!

We all know that Carine Roitfeld honored Lara Stone with the October cover of Vogue Paris celebrating the 90th anniversary and likely you saw the photo but I have a tradition of posting the cover each month so here it is. At 624 pages, the special issue weighs 2.2 kilograms and features over 100 pages of personal letters from various designers and houses commemorating the anniversary of the magazine.
Also included are fascinating archival treasures such as an interview with Jeanne Moreau by Françoise Sagan (Carine's favorite author), an interview with Romy Schneider as shot by Helmut Newton (two of Carine's style icons), and an intimate letter of love to Elizabeth Taylor from Richard Burton. The October issue of Vogue Paris hits kiosks on September 27, note that I previously misstated the date. Also prepare for a slight price increase, the magazine usually sells for 4.90 € but readers must pay 5.90 € for this special issue.
