Mamma mia! Or perhaps "ma maman" is a better choice… In any event, expectant mother Julia Restoin-Roitfeld looks stunning and radiant on the cover of the Summer 2012 issue of i-D Magazine, "Lights, Camera, Action." The shot was styled by her mother, Carine Roitfeld, and every detail perfectly accentuates Julia's assets, with the sweetest spot being the stuffed teddy bear covering her right eye in the i-D tradition. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, Julia bares her baby bump beneath the sexy Cadolle bra and the shimmering McQueen cape, and notice that she is wearing her Cartier Love bracelet that was a gift from her parents, another sweet touch. Inside the issue, JRR reveals her ideas for dressing the baby and the songs she will play for him or her. I like to think of it as the first magazine to include three generations of Roitfelds. The goodness hits newsstands 10 May.

Last week in Istanbul, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld staged Nicolas Pol's first art exhibit in Turkey, EPEKTASIS, in collaboration with Demet Muftuoğlu Eşeli and Alphan Eşeli of ISTANBUL '74. Special thanks to Alper Yilmaz who had the good fortune to meet Vladimir at the show and kindly agreed to share his personal photographs of the event. Visit style.com to view Vladimir's own photos from Istanbul.

Friends of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld hosted a baby shower for her earlier this week at the Maritime Hotel in Manhattan (which you may recognize from one of the final episodes of the epic television program Bored to Death) and it looks like fabulous fun. Of course they hired a stripper for the occasion and Julia seems to be a good sport. I am disappointed that I do not see Carine in the photographs. I have one urgent question — whose baby is Julia holding in the photo below?
