My enormously talented friend Lula has outdone herself this time, she has launched a fully illustrated fashion magazine titled Herself featuring many of our favorites: Carine Roitfeld, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Sofia Coppola, and Giovanna Battaglia, among others. I was thrilled to receive a copy of Herself No. 01: The Portrait Issue last week from Lula and was smitten with the glossy beauty instantly. Much like the Vogue Paris Collections, Herself will serve as a wonderful reference to the fashion season for years to come, I plan to collect every issue and I recommend you do the same. Congratulations to Lula on her fabulous new concept in fashion magazines.

The fashion world fulfilled their vampiric fantasies last night in Paris as they gathered for Le Bal des Vampires to celebrate Carine Roitfeld's forthcoming biography Irreverent. The clever costume party with a vampire theme found its ideal setting in Raspoutine, a subterranean Russian cabaret and caviar club illuminated by red Byzantine lamps and lined with fur and blood red velvet. Carine dressed as the perfect vampiress in black velvet Givenchy and full makeup. The illustrious guest list included Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld, Robert Konjic, Giovanna Battaglia, Haider Ackermann, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Ciara, Anna Dello Russo, Peter Dundas, Alber Elbaz, Miranda Kerr, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karlie Kloss, Karolina Kurkova, Karl Lagerfeld, Pier Paolo Piccioli, Terry Richardson, Anja Rubik, Martine Sitbon, Dirk Standen, Mario Testino, Olivier Theyskens, Uma Thurman, Riccardo Tisci, Natalia Vodianova, Diane von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, and Kanye West. Visit the photo gallery for more scarily sexy shots of Le Bal des Vampires.

The afterparty to celebrate Riccardo Tisci's latest collection for Givenchy looks to be a mob scene, spilling into the streets of Paris ouside of L'Arc. Among the fabulous guests were of course Carine Roitfeld and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld as well as Giovanna Battaglia, Kate Lanphear, Natalia Vodianova, Liv Tyler, Erin Wasson, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Hudson, Ciara, Ne-Yo, and Olivier Theyskens. First Sky Ferreira performed on the rooftop including her original "Sex Rules" and a rendition of "The Man Who Sold the World" by David Bowie; she was followed by Gisele. About his new collection, Tisci said: "It was such an intense season! Everyone recognizes me as a dark designer, and this collection was still true to my soul, but it showed that I can open the window to what is light, and enjoy."
