Carine Roitfeld has opened a whole new door to her life, an avenue that is sure to thrill her loyal fans… Carine Roitfeld is on Instagram! I regret to say this happened a month ago without me noticing, I am not actually a member yet myself, but I am utterly delighted to note it now. I adore the shot above of Carine with her granddaughter, Romy, très adorable in black-and-white. Further, dispelling any doubts that it is truly herself, La Roitfeld posted a handwritten note asking for a photo she had seen previously on Instagram and styledumonde kindly obliged with the gorgeous image of Carine in the garden below. Then of course as a new member, CR added the requisite selfies of her own feet, ooooo la la! Looking forward to lots of inspiring images to come from Carine Roitfeld's personal perspective...

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld And Romy Konjic In Miami

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld has proven to be a fiercely protective mother, carefully guarding the privacy of her infant daughter, Romy Konjic. Since Romy was born in May, we have seen only a few photographs of her and always from a distance with her face obscured. This picture of mother and daughter enjoying the beach in Miami is no different... although Julia looks lovely, Romy has managed to turn her head at just the right moment to avoid the camera.

I really cannot believe I missed this photograph of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld holding her one-month-old daughter Romy Konjic. The photo was originally captioned "Romy and mommy's first vacation" and it looks as though they may be spending their leisure time in the Hamptons. Julia is tanned and happy, obviously enjoying her vacation as well as motherhood. Romy is six months old today, I hope we see a close up soon...

Romy Konjic's Footprint

As she approaches six month of age, it is hard to believe that we have yet to see photographs of Romy Nicole Konjic, the daughter of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Robert Konjic, but here is a treat: a framed mold of her tiny footprint! This delightful artifact was the first gift to Carine from her granddaughter and is proudly displayed in her home. "La babushka" also shared these sentiments about her beloved Romy: "So, this day is very special because this week, in plus of the Fashion Week, I have my daughter and my granddaughter at home. So I wake up with a little, say, croissant chaud, it was a little baby... in my bed, which is very nice but makes me late already. But it was like a hot cookie in my bed, so nice, so I stayed a bit with Romy in my bed."

Robert Konjic With Daughter Romy

Robert Konjic appears on the web site of his talent agency, Notice Ltd., and although you can see only one tiny foot, this is the first photographic evidence of Romy Konjic, the beautiful new daughter he shares with Julia Restoin-Roitfeld. Romy is now two months old and of course we are all anxiously awaiting our first real look at her; I am excited to see even her carriage and her diaper bag!
