Restoin Resurrects Equipment

Fantastic news for fashionistas: Carine Roitfeld's partner Christian (or "Sisley") Restoin is reviving his clothing line Equipment, reportedly readying for a Spring/Summer 2010 release. The shirts that Equipment produces are renowned for the soft fabrics, loose cut, and patch pockets. Carine and Sisley actually met because she decided to use some of the shirts by Equipment in a photo shoot that she was styling. Sisley chose to close the company in 2001 when Carine became editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris so that he could support her in her new role. I believe that the gorgeous sage green shirt Carine is wearing below is from the Equipment line and her dark green pencil skirt is by Dior.
