Giovanna Battaglia: True Colors

Contrasting sharply with the black and white shot by Fred at Easy Fashion Paris that I posted recently, Giovanna Battaglia's engaging use of color in this outfit deserves its very own post. Special thanks to Phill Taylor of Taylor-Made who captured the first two photographs of Giovanna at Chanel and graciously allowed me to share them here with you. The olive green trench coat that Gio wears is from the latest Valentino Resort collection. As if this beautiful shade of green were not enough to brighten the day, look at her shoes! She has chosen to pair the distinctive olive tone not with basic black, but with turquoise, rose, gold, beige, plum, and grey suede and grosgrain sandals by Pierre Hardy, c'est magnifique !

The Roitfelds At Paris Fashion Week 2010

I finally had time to add the collection of photographs of the Roitfelds at Paris Fashion Week to the gallery. Note that a few other fashion standouts are also included. What are your favorite looks seen at Paris Fashion Week? Personally I think it is impossible to choose...

G For Giovanna

Merci mille fois to Fred at Easy Fashion Paris who captured this epic shot of Giovanna Battaglia during Paris Fashion Week. Her outfit lends itself perfectly to the classic black and white treatment right down to the "G" adorning her earlobe. Fred mentioned that Gio wears a "B" on the other ear, a clever take on the traditional monogram. Visit Fred's site to view more wonderful Paris street portraits.

Christian Restoin Au Bal Masqué

Look what I found! By special request, here is a photograph of Carine Roitfeld's partner, Christian Restoin, at the masquerade ball to mark Vogue Paris' 90th anniversary. Christian is posing with his son Vladimir and Vivi Nevo, may I suggest that Monsieur Restoin might have been a bit more creative with his costume? Something along the lines of a leopard tamer perhaps...

Les Belles À Mode À Paris

I promise a full collection of photographs from Paris Fashion Week soon but for now enjoy these beauties captured by the delightful Madame M. She had the great fortune to meet Carine Roitfeld, Anna Dello Russo, and Giovanna Battaglia outside of the Céline show and they graciously posed for these photos for her. Merci mille fois, Madame M. !
