Roitfeld And Battaglia At Ultrasuede Premiere

The film Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston premiered in Europe last night at Notting Hill's Electric Cinema in London and Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia were among the beautiful people celebrating its release. Director Whitney Sudler-Smith tells the story of the life of Roy Halston, a veritable fashion legend famed for dressing the jet set: Jacqueline Kennedy, Bianca Jagger, Lauren Bacall, Babe Paley, Liza Minnelli, Elizabeth Taylor, Anjelica Huston. Hostess Kinvara Balfour shone in Halston amidst the glamorous guests screening the film including Sara Brajovic, Edie Campbell, Matt Collisaw, Andrea Dellal, Charlotte Dellal, Marina Hanbury, Nicky Haslam, Daniella Helayel, Fran Hinckman, Nellee Hooper, Annabelle Horsey, Stephen Jones, Dan Macmillan, Polly Morgan, Princess Tatiana of Greece, Marios Schwab, Amanda Sheppard, Sacha Volkova, David Walliams, and Matthew Williamson. The afterparty was conveniently located directly above the show at the Electric Club where the sounds of the 70s colored the night, paying proper respect to Halston's immense influence on disco fashion.

Restoin-Roitfeld Launches Hambleton In London

Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld partnered with Andy Valmorbida and Giorgio Armani to host pop expressionist Richard Hambleton's first art exhibit in London and as surely as the champagne and vodka flowed it was another sold out show. "Richard Hambleton—New York" opened at The Dairy with a private viewing of works by the artist, half of which had never been shown before. Of course Carine Roitfeld turned out to support her son's endeavor, financially as well as maternally: “I am incredibly proud of him and I love the art too; I have bought a small, very classic piece.”

Vladimir looked masterful in a black Armani suit welcoming a beautiful array of guests including his mother and his father, Christian Restoin, his girlfriend, Giovanna Battaglia, Roberta Armani, Lara Stone, David Walliams, Imogen Poots, Amber Le Bon, Holly Fulton, Pam Hogg, Jameela Jamil, Reggie Yates, Saffron Le Bon, Zara Martin, Annabel Wallis, James Ruso, Kensington Leverne, and Craig Lawrence.

La Roitfeld was amusing as ever at the party, sharing anecdotes about Vladimir: "He wasn't a particularly artistic child — he was more turned on to football, and I never took him to museums," and a juicy aside with Grazia — she will be back in London next week for a Vogue Paris shoot with ten of the UK's best fashion designers including Mary Katrantzou, definitely an editorial I do not want to miss.

"Richard Hambleton—New York" is on view to the general public now until December 3, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The Dairy, 7 Wakefield Street. Visit the photo gallery to see more of the party.

The Restoin-Roitfelds For MANGO

For the campaign for their Spring 2009 line, MANGO selected the sexy Restoin-Roitfeld siblings, Julia and Vladimir. Txema Yeste shot the campaign in the Spanish label's home town of Barcelona. According to MANGO this particular collection was "inspired by nature and modern landscape. It is defined by clean, architectural silhouettes in which both menswear trends and 80s fashion play a key role. Watery blues, pure whites, skin tones, grey shades, and pearl rose combine with vibrant touches of lime, tangerine, and rose." I like these hues on Vlad and Jewels, what do you think of the campaign?

Roitfeld And Battaglia: Halloween Soliders

There is no camouflaging the fabulous style of Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld and Giovanna Battaglia pictured here at Giampaolo Sgura’s Hallowood Party in Milan. Costumed in the darling of the season, military print, Vlad and Gio serve as a forceful duo for Halloween. Visit Giampaolo's blog to view a video from the party; the theme is "America" and the costumes are a riot.
