Parsons

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld attended Parsons School of Design in Paris before moving to New York in 2004. After interning with design firm Baron & Baron, Julia transferred her credits and enrolled at New York's premier design school, Parsons The New School for Design. At Parsons, Julia's major in design management included numerous courses that focused on the business side of the industry. While taking courses, she was also interning with photographer Craig McDean, learning about all aspects of editing and production in the studio. In July 2006, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld graduated from Parsons in New York with a BBA in Design Management. Her preparation at school equipped her beautifully to develop and launch new design projects which has paid off in the work that Julia has done as an art director for Jean Paul Gaultier, V Magazine, Marina Rinaldi, and Rock & Republic among other prestigious clients. Be sure to read Julia's senior thesis on customization of luxury goods.
