Roitfelds At Classy Release Party

Though Julia Restoin-Roitfeld prefers the word "elegant" to "classy" in describing her friends, she and brother Vladimir were on hand regardless to help celebrate the publication of the book Classy by Derek Blasberg. "All my friends are pretty classy, I guess. No, I don't want to say classy. All my friends are pretty elegant with good manners," Julia clarified. She is pictured here in the Prps flak jacket posing with Dasha Zhukova, editor of Pop and one of three hostesses for the event. Chloë Sevigny and Lauren Santo Domingo also shared in this honor. Others gracing the soirée at Barneys on Madison Avenue included Giovanna Battaglia, Zac Posen, Jessica Stam, Lazaro Hernandez, Jack McCollough, Lily Aldridge, Leigh Lezark, Byrdie Bell, Jen Brill, Simon Doonan, Anna Cleveland, and Nate Berkus. The Roitfelds In Exterieur/Nuit - YSL

We get only a glimpse of Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld and her daughter Julia in this video titled Extérieur/Nuit - YSL from Nast Magazine but it is worth it just to see their gorgeous smiles in tandem. I realized how seldom Julia is photographed with her teeth exposed, hmmmm. I like the use of black and white here, it adds a crisp noir feeling as people come and go at the most recent Yves Saint Laurent show in Paris. The parade of Parisian chaussures is an amusing end to the short piece.

Nothing much to say really, just two beautiful photographs of two beautiful women. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is working a more sophisticated look bordering on prudish but it becomes her. As for the photo of Carine, what can I say. Just focus on her expression peeking out from behind her hair then look over at the cherubs. As I said, I have no words...

Konjic Loves Roitfeld

Remember back in July when we caught Julia Restoin-Roitfeld licking her beau Robert Konjic? Now Robie is returning the favor, showing his, errrr, good taste. It is no wonder, Julia looks so adorable. I am sure it is in no way related to that nearly empty pint glass of vodka she is holding... They really do make the cutest couple.

The Roitfelds Air Kiss

I am enchanted with this photograph of Carine Roitfeld kissing daughter Julia in the European style as they part ways after the Burberry show. Even though Mama Carine is on the phone likely doing business, she is never too busy to say goodbye to Julia with love. Bonne maman... I had to include the one below as well because Robert Konjic looks so masterful.
